The Leadership Team of the Holland Park church is chosen by the church family, to guide us in our purpose, to be an example, to care for and nurture the members of Holland Park Church of Christ. The Church Leaders are Pat O'Dell, Warren Faulks, Alan Parr and Rick Coker.
Pat is married to Rosalie and they have worshipped with the church at Holland Park since the end of 1980. They have been married 46 years, have four married children and five grandchildren. Pat was born and raised in the Dallas, Texas area while Rosalie is from Brisbane. They married in Texas, living there for 5 years, before moving to Australia. For over 30 years Pat was a teacher at Redlands College, located at Wellington Point. He taught in the areas of teaching Bible, coaching various sporting teams, and was a member of the chaplaincy team. During that same period of time Rosie has cared for kids in their home with Family Day Care. They both appreciate and enjoy their fellowship with the church at Holland Park. Pat and Rosie have a special interest in teaching children and helping them to grow.
Alan and Rachel have been married for over 25 years and have four adult children who have no intention of leaving home because they love it too much. Alan thinks eating together is an important facet of Christian fellowship that can be too easily overlooked, and Rachel is a fantastic cook. You could say it is a match made in heaven. Alan is from New Zealand, but is a strong Maroons supporter. Rachel was born in NSW and goes for the Blues. This is the only area in which the house is divided. Alan and Rachel have been part of the Holland Park congregation since 2014 and look forward to as many more years with the congregation as God will allow.
Rick and his wife Debbie have been blessed with more than 25 years of marriage and have raised two amazing children along the way. After 15 years in home churches in Toowoomba, Rick and Debbie joined the Holland Park family in 2020 and have loved living with and serving the family at Holland Park. Rick has a background in engineering and works in business strategy. He enjoys teaching and bible study – the more challenging the better! Debbie works in allied health and enjoys connecting with and serving people. Together Rick and Debbie are passionate about building up the church family in grace and truth, and are excited for the future of God’s family at Holland Park.
Warren has been married to His wonderful wife Bev for 37 years and was married in the Holland Park church building. Warren has worked as a licensed electrician for 36 years. Warren and Bev have five children, Rachelle, Andrea, Louise, Joshua and Gemma. As a family, they enjoy doing most outdoor activities, including climbing mountains and mountain bike riding. Warren has been at Holland Park since he was in his mid-teens and has enjoyed growing in his faith and spiritual maturity over the past 40 odd years. It has held him in good stead to enjoy teaching adult bible class, some kids classes and preaching.
