Yeronga Community Centre
ABOUT
We make a difference in our community, working effectively with the community and our partners to achieve positive and lasting change for those most in need. We are caring, acting with warmth, kindness, sincerity, respect, and dignity in all our interactions. We are respectful of each other, and base our relationships on honesty, fairness and trust.
We empower the community, working with individuals to help them make the best choices for themselves and with communities to contribute to the well being of the whole community, strengthening community spirit and resilience.
We are proactive in advocating for social and legal frameworks to protect vulnerable members of the community.

Seville Road State School
ABOUT
Seville Road State School opened in 1959 and is a small school with a big heart. Many cultures are represented in the school community with a large proportion of students from a non-English speaking background and many families who are refugees from their country of origin. The harmonious way in which students learn, work and play serves as a model to all humanity.
Volunteers from Holland Park Church of Christ assist teachers in the classroom by working one-on-one with students to support their English language skills, relationship building and general educational support.

Mission Moree
MM is a six-day Mission designed to support, serve and teach indigenous children. Volunteers enjoy leading interactive lessons from the Bible, and connecting with kids through art, craft, and sport activities. As a part of the MM team, members enjoy learning leadership and teambuilding skills while building a deeper personal faith in God through service. MM works in conjunction with local Christians to encourage, teach, mentor, and share God’s love to children within their community.
