Camp Gidawarra
Camp Gidawarra is an annual Christian retreat for the whole family. It is a week full of fun, friendship, and faith building. You will be renewed and revived through times of worship, learning, and fellowship.
You will be surrounded by the lush green rainforest covered mountains of the beautiful Gold Coast hinterlands, elevated 400 metres above sea level. The venue location is 30 minutes drive from the Gold Coast and 1 hour and 15 minutes from Brisbane.
The camp includes Bible classes each morning for children, teenagers, and adults with combined singing together each morning and evening. The rest of the schedule allows you to chose how busy you wish to be and how much relaxing you want to get in. There are plenty of activities organized in the afternoons and evenings which you can choose to participate in, catering to a wide range of interests, including sports, crafts, swimming and hiking. There are also plenty of quite secluded places where you can enjoy being alone or spending time with friends.
Christians travel from all over the country to be a part of Camp Gidawarra. It is a great opportunity to catch up with old friends and to meet new ones.
